Toyota to build 10,000-seat indoor sports venue in Tokyo – SportBusiness

Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation has announced plans to construct a 10,000-seat indoor sports arena at the site of a former car showroom in the Koto-ku district of East Tokyo.

The A-Arena is scheduled to open in the second half of 2025. It will be the home venue for Japanese B.League basketball team Toyota Alvark Tokyo and will also host other indoor sports such as volleyball, table tennis and para sports. In addition, the arena is intended to host urban sports events and esports tournaments.
