Docu Cinema: “Straightlaced”

Monday, Jan. 10. 7 -8:30 p.m. Peter White Public Library Community Room. Teens, adults, seniors. Films return to Peter White Public Library in this documentary series. “Straightlaced” unearths how pressures around gender and sexuality are confining American teens. The stories in this film reflect a diversity of experiences, demonstrating how gender role expectations and homophobia are interwoven, illustrating the different ways these expectations connect with culture, race, and class.
