One of the business trademarks of Bill Foley’s sports properties in the Las Vegas market is how the Vegas Golden Knights create their own content and videos to advance their brand.

Actually, Las Vegas already has a sports organization based right here in the valley that is the king of content creation — Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is both an MMA fight show promoter and media producer.

So, it comes as no surprise that Foley’s sports and entertainment operations have created a six-part documentary series to chronicle the launch of Foley’s new Indoor Football League team called the Vegas Knight Hawks. The team begins play here in this market March 18 at Foley’s new Dollar Loan Center arena in Henderson.

The in-house video series is called, UKnighted in Flight,” and Foley’s people are pitching it as Hard Knocks-style content that “will deliver unprecedented behind-the-scenes access that chronicles the Indoor Football team’s launch. Cameras on the field, on the bench, in the locker room, meeting room, player mics, coach mics and exclusive interviews will give fans and viewers a captivating, inside look at the Valley’s newest professional team.”

The first episode of UKnighted In Flight is scheduled for March 16 at 9 p.m. PT on My LVTV. Future episode air dates and times will be announced at a later date. Each episode will be 30 minutes in length.

“You’re in the meeting room as the players are being told they made the team or they didn’t make the team,” said Eric Tosi, chief marketing officer for the Foley sports and entertainment group, which also includes wineries and hotels. “I think the fans will like it. We think it’s content the fans will really enjoy.”

The collection of the Knight Hawks content actually began with the new team logo and name last summer. Foley’s in-house staffers are handling rge filming of the footage and video production is being done in collaboration with a production house in Boston called Moody Street Productions, Tosi said.

“With the Indoor Football League, they’re an open canvas for ideas,” Tosi said. noting the mascot and interactive fans elements will be fun parts of the Knight Hawks games.

Five Vegas Knight Hawks games will be televised on The CW Las Vegas (channel 33 or cable 6) or My LVTV (over-the-air on channel 33.2, Cox Cable channel 12, and channel 21 on DIRECTV and Dish Network):
