Breakfast Creek Sports Precinct concept – Brisbane City Council

About the project

Council has worked with Brothers Rugby Club and Queensland Cricket to create the Breakfast Creek Sports Precinct concept.

The proposed precinct would be home to the new 5-hectare Brisbane Indoor Sports and Para Sports Centre, alongside improved sporting and community facilities.

As we get our city ready to host the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the precinct will play an important role in hosting a range of Olympic and Paralympic competition, and will benefit residents, local sporting clubs and the wider South East Queensland region in the lead-up to and long after the 2032 Games.

Concept plans and inclusions are still being explored and considered, and Council will keep the community informed as these plans progress.

Council looks forward to working with the State Government and other key stakeholders to progress this concept.
